How do you know your limits if you don't hit the wall once in a while?

Thanks for sharing your photo of your beautiful horses Evangeline! Alas, I have not been able to ride since my Labor Day mishap so it is always nice to see others post and share. Here is a picture I took in April at Cedar Lake, OK... unfortunately, I didn't get any ears in the pic!

OMG it is beautiful there!!! I was not sure about the spelling of the Brumbie but I have been fascinated by your beautiful continent all my life. My country is beautiful but it is disappearing quickly and unfortunately, I was not born rich so I must be patient so I can afford to retire someday and perhaps see what is left by horseback.

If you mount from the wrong side of a horse it is the right side.

Here is a view from the back paddock.
Well here in Australia we have no native horses so they are all imports
Am suprised you corectly call them brumbies not mustangs
As you can see we have plenty of trees here.

Quarter horse??? I am sadly disappointed in an Aussie riding an American horse. I thought you all rode Brumbee's . Of course I ride Morgans (the original American breed). Love to work cattle on a good horse... no other feeling like it! Hope all is well with you downunder... keep em coming! I love your scenery! I need to get some more recent "ear" pics!

Love the ears... and the downunder highway! Here is one from Bar 50 Ranch where I went on vacation last week. There were a LOT of training opportunities with llamas, buffalo, cattle, pigs, goats and equipment.

This one is very sad... I went riding through downtown Mena, AR after the April 9th tornado devastated a good portion of downtown. The loss of over 1,000 trees changed the entire landscape... probably forever.
